Moore Park was a station on the Lake Shore and Michigan railroad, established in 1871. It was named after Hon. Edward S. MOORE whose picturesque homestead was in the vicinity. He was a prominent man in the industrial and financial growth of St. Joseph County. His spacious home, situated in a beautiful grove, always dispensed hospitality to everyone.
