About this publication.

There is no indication of who published this book. There are two different publishers of the data contained in the book. From the cover through page 123 are the contents of all contained in the Table of Contents. Behind page 123 and added afterward are the names of the men and women who fought and even gave their lives from Three Rivers and vicinity.

In the listing of the veterans of the men and women from Three Rivers we've noted the names are not in strict alphabetical order. We've left them as we've found them rather than put them in proper order. This is especially noticeable in the surnames beginning with the letter 'H'.

We've transcribed a representation of the front pages of the original publication to give you the Table of Contents and a feeling of what the book contains but have left off from doing the complete book as it doesn't pertain to St. Joseph County but rather the all of World War II as a whole.

This book is the property of Three Rivers Public Library. We especially want to thank the library director, Linda Hilton for her keen eye on finding us many interesting things to share with researchers in St. Joseph County's rich history. We hope this helps you as well.
