Announcements
- "The Michigan 1997 Public Act No. 54"... permits public access to unsealed birth records over 110 years; you will need a name and approximate date of birth to request a record at the county clerk's office.
This law does not permit the researcher unrestricted open searches of
birth books due to confidentiality of the records nor does it permit
opening of sealed birth records, regardless of date."
